Family-Friendly Dining: Children are welcome to enjoy a simplified, wholesome menu and are encouraged to dine earlier in the evening to ensure a peaceful experience for the adults. We enjoy hosting communal dinners, where convivial chatter is encouraged between travellers. However, should you prefer to dine all meals on your own, please arrange this with the service staff. Valley Bakery, Coffee Shop and Art Gallery is situated on the R600 which leads to the Champagne Valley in the Central Drakensberg. Filled to the brim with tasty treats, fresh pastries, cakes and tarts and specialty bakes such as croissants and lemon merinque pie, the Valley Bakery is a well known landmark in the Drakensberg. It's a welcome respite if you've been travelling - sit down in the coffee shop and enjoy one of their sandwiches served with their fresh-out-the-oven baked bread and a good cup of coffee. Drakensberg Brewery is a Craft Brewery in the heart of the Drakensberg, situated on the R600 which leads to the Champagne Valley in the Central Drakensberg. The brewery is a 600L batch brewhouse and fermenters intended to service the local community and visitors to our picturesque valley. The beer is made from malted barley, hops, yeast and fresh spring water. The brewery produces its beer in 30L kegs or 440ml bottles.
