Ecoterra Costa Rica Campesino Farm Experience is situated in La Fortuna. Visitors will visit an Agro-ecological farm in the small town of Agua Azul. Upon arrival at the farm, visitors are greeted with fresh fruit juice while receiving information on the farm's main objectives. Visitors will have the opportunity to milk cows, and taste-test homemade liquor, chocolate, and fresh milk. Afterwards, visitors can participate in sugar cane extraction to obtain juice, with the opportunity to add spearmint, liquor, or some of the farm's other organic products. A small archaeological ranch will also be visited, where visitors can learn about indigenous methods used in the artisanal process of making chocolate from cocoa fruit. Visitors can walk through the orchid and medicinal plant gardens. Upon conclusion of the journey, visitors are treated to farm-fresh favourites.
