Karen H - The Great Kalahari Safari

This safari takes you through three distinct ecosystems in Botswana before ending with a relaxing night at Victoria Falls. You begin with 3 nights at Tau Pan in the Central Kalahari, where the open pans, golden grasslands and stark desert scenery provide excellent sightings of black-maned Kalahari lions, cheetah and springbok, along with big skies and tranquil, remote wilderness. You then fly to the Okavango region for 3 nights at Rra Dinare, a classic Delta experience overlooking the Gomoti River floodplains, offering a mix of game drives, seasonal mokoro outings and rich wildlife viewing with elephants, predators and abundant birdlife. Next, you continue by light aircraft to the Kwedi/Delta area for 3 nights at 4 Rivers, a stylish new camp set along a beautiful water channel, where you can enjoy safari walks, mokoro excursions and drives in a pristine, wildlife-rich concession. Finally, you fly to Victoria Falls and transfer to Batonka Guest Lodge for 1 night, a comfortable, quiet base from which to visit the Falls before onward travel. All inter-camp flights and airport transfers are included, making the journey seamless and easy from start to finish.
