On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, clear Tanzania immigration. Entry visa required, obtainable online via the Tanzania visa portal prior to travel.
You will be met in the arrival hall by our local representative, for a road transfer to Arusha Coffee Lodge, a one hour drive from the airport.

On arrival at the Seronera airfield in the heart of the Serengeti you will be met by your private guide. After your safari briefing depart in your private customised safari vehicle, and drive across the Serengeti to Ol Mara Camp.
Arrive at Ol Mara in time for lunch and an afternoon safari activity.
Enjoy two days of safari activities in the central Serengeti. Activities include game drives and walking safaris.

After breakfast, you depart for the Ngorongoro Highlands.
Arrive at Entamanu Ngorongoro in the later afternoon, and in time for dinner.
Day in the Crater - very early in the morning, you depart the lodge with your guide, aiming to be one of the first safari vehicles descending into the crater.
Early morning is a magical time on safari, and to have the crater virtually to yourselves at sunrise, is worth the effort; predators are still on the move, and sightings are uninhibited by other vehicles.
The crater floor supports an incredible array of wildlife, and you should expect to see a variety of species including lions, elephants, buffalo and possibly endangered rhinos. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor, and return to the lodge in the afternoon, and possibly in time for an evening walk along the Crater rim, or a visit to a Masai village.

Expert tips:
*Bear in mind that the crater rim is at 7000ft, and quite exposed. So it's hot during the day, though gets chilly at night. It's a unique and beautiful environment with spectacular views, resident wildlife and local Masai people, who freely roam with their cattle. The tents have heaters, the beds large duvets and hot water bottles. At night it can also get quite windy. Just be aware that is an environment of extremes!
