Day 1 – Arrival in Windhoek
Upon arrival, you are met by your guide and transferred to your exquisite hilltop hotel overlooking Windhoek. The Hotel Heinitzburg offers timeless charm, a tranquil pool, and panoramic views over the city. Relax after your flight or enjoy a refreshing swim.

Day 2 – Into the Kalahari Desert
After breakfast, travel south via Rehoboth and Kalkrand to the sweeping red dunes of the Kalahari. The Kalahari Red Dunes Lodge features spacious, individually designed suites that blend seamlessly into the surrounding wilderness. Enjoy lunch on arrival.
In the late afternoon, set out on a sundowner nature drive through the dunes, where oryx and springbok roam freely, before returning for an exquisite dinner beneath the stars.

Day 3 – Towards the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
Continue eastwards through Stampriet and Gochas towards Mata Mata, the gateway to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Your lodge lies amid the red sands of the Kalahari, surrounded by pristine wilderness. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided sunset drive, where sightings may include oryx, springbok, hartebeest, and brown hyena.

Day 4 – Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
After breakfast, cross into Botswana to the Rooiputs Lodge, beautifully situated on a dune overlooking the Nossob River Valley. Enjoy a guided game drive in search of lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

Day 5 – Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
A full day to savour the solitude and splendour of this extraordinary region. Explore the park with your guides on morning and afternoon game drives, encountering giraffes, black-maned lions, and elusive cheetahs. The red dunes, golden grasslands, and endless skies create a setting of true wilderness perfection.

Day 6 – To Keetmanshoop
Return to Namibia and continue through semi-desert landscapes dotted with succulents and quiver trees. Visit the Quiver Tree Forest and the nearby Giant’s Playground, where volcanic dolerite boulders form surreal natural sculptures. Continue to Keetmanshoop for an overnight stay.

Day 7 – To the Fish River Canyon
Drive south to the Fish River Lodge, the only lodge situated directly on the western rim of the canyon. The views from your chalet and infinity pool are simply breathtaking. Day 9 – To Aus
Continue westward through open plains and rugged mountain scenery to Aus, where your lodge, Klein-Aus Vista – Eagle’s Nest Chalets, is built among massive granite boulders. Each stone chalet offers panoramic views over the desert plains. In the afternoon, visit the wild horses of Garub, an iconic symbol of Namibia’s desert freedom.

Day 10 – To the NamibRand Nature Reserve

Day 11 – NamibRand Nature Reserve

Day 12 – Sesriem / Sossusvlei
Travel north to Namib Outpost, nestled at the foot of a mountain with views stretching across the Namib Desert towards the dunes of Sossusvlei. Each chalet is designed for seclusion and serenity. In the late afternoon, you may visit the nearby Sesriem Canyon or simply relax and enjoy the peace of the desert.

Day 13 – Sossusvlei and Deadvlei
An early start for your journey into the Namib-Naukluft Park to see Sossusvlei’s legendary dunes. As dawn breaks, the light transforms the sands into glowing shades of red and gold. Climb “Big Daddy” for spectacular views or wander across the hauntingly beautiful Deadvlei, where ancient trees stand frozen in time. Return to your lodge for a relaxed afternoon.

Day 14 – To Windhoek
Your Namibian adventure slowly draws to a close. After breakfast, travel north to Gocheganas Lodge, a private 6,000-hectare nature reserve near Windhoek. Spend the afternoon at leisure — enjoy a spa treatment, relax by the pool, or join an optional game drive before a final dinner.
