Your destination today at the Fish River Canyon is one of the absolute highlights of the country and offers a spectacular landscape experience as the largest canyon in Africa. The region is world-famous for the Fish River Canyon Hiking Trail, which runs around 88 km to Ais-Ais. Short, guided hiking trails and unforgettable nature drives at sunset are also popular.
Your journey takes you to Helmeringhausen, an ideal stopover between highlights in southern Namibia. In the afternoon, wildlife drives take place on the farm grounds of your hotel. Let your gamekeeper introduce you to the landscape, fauna and flora of the region, as well as the wild animals that live here. With luck, you will see kudu, springbok, ostrich, duiker, meerkat, bat-eared fox and a variety of native birds.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast early in the morning before continuing on to Sossusvlei. After your arrival, enjoy the spectacular landscape that surrounds your desert lodge. During your stay, you have the opportunity to visit the highest dune, Big Daddy, and Deadvlei, the famous viewpoints in this region.
Continue on to the coast, to the charming town of Swakopmund, known for its unique blend of German colonial architecture and laid-back seaside atmosphere. Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the vast Namib Desert, it offers striking landscapes and a cool, refreshing climate. Swakopmund is a popular destination for adventure activities like sandboarding, quad biking, and dolphin cruises with many choices to suit your pocket.

At the foot of Namibias highest Mountain, time passes slow and modern technology somehow doesn't fit the tranquil atmosphere. You will spend the next few days driving in your own vehicle enjoying the spectacular game viewing available in Etosha National Park. During an optional game drive, explore the amazing wildlife from an open safari vehicle. Alongside lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas, Etosha is home to one of the most stable black rhino populations in the world. The famous Etosha Pan - a flat salt pan covering an area of 5,000 square kilometers - lies in the heart of the park.
Your last stop is Windhoek. During an optional city tour in the afternoon or choose to discover on your own, you can explore some of the highlights of the former colonial city and delve into the city's modern history with sights such as the Tintenpalast, the Christuskirche, the old fortresses, the Imperial Secondary School and Heinitzburg and Sanderburg.
Drive to the airport and return of rental car. Check-in for your flight back home.
