Special Host during your excursion: Gonzalo Torres (subject to availability) who is a well known figure in Peru, apart from being an actor and a clown, he has local cable show called “A La Vuelta de la Esquina” which has been around for almost 12 years winning some awards for best cultural programme in Peru. His show is centered on urban exploration of Lima touching upon history, architecture, art, urban spaces, culture and heritage through the intervention of many cultures and people and how it is all woven not only into the personality of the “limeños” but on “feel” and sights of the city as well. He is knowledgeable on the least trodden paths of the city and can surprise you with some spaces not usually open to the public.

Step into the artistic world of Hotel B, a Belle Époque mansion that also serves as a living gallery. Guided by one of the hotel’s Art Specialists, explore a collection of works by renowned Peruvian artists during an intimate 45-minute tour. Afterwards, enjoy a signature Peruvian cocktail and take home a small art-inspired keepsake as a memento of the experience.

Horseback Riding through Maras & Moray
Visit the salt ponds of Maras, where families still harvest salt by hand using techniques passed down for generations. After a relaxed lunch in the countryside, set off on a Peruvian Paso horse, known for its smooth gait, and ride through quiet fields of maize and quinoa with the Urubamba range in view. Along the way, you’ll reach the circular terraces of Moray, thought to have been an ancient site for agricultural experimentation. It’s a gentle journey that brings you closer to the rhythms of the land and its living heritage.

Explore Machu Picchu Citadel (with local guide)
Meet your guide for a short walk to the bus station and a 20-minute bus ride up to Machu Picchu Citadel (elevation: 8,000 ft. – 2,432 m.a.s.l.). Soak in the energy and atmosphere of one of the most significant archeological sites on the planet while your guide helps you uncover the secrets behind key ceremonial areas such as Sun Temple Viewpoint, the Sacred Plaza, and the Temple of the Condor. This itinerary offers deep historical context and an immersive, close-up view of the Inca architectural genius.
