Day 1: Windhoek

Welcome to Namibia! After your arrival in Windhoek, you will be welcomed by our local travel agency. We will answer questions, exchange money together and help you pick up your rental car. Continue to your accommodation in the capital, Windhoek. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the local amenities or opt for a city tour to explore the most beautiful viewpoints.

Day 2: Kalahari Namibia

Continue  to your first stop in the beautiful and remote Kalahari. Relax after arrival and enjoy your first impressions of the country's uniqueness and fascinating scenery.

Days 3 - 4: Fish River Canyon

Your destination today at the Fish River Canyon is one of the absolute highlights of the country and offers a spectacular landscape experience as the largest canyon in Africa. The region is world-famous for the Fish River Canyon Hiking Trail, which runs around 88 km to Ais-Ais. Short, guided hiking trails and unforgettable nature drives at sunset are also popular.

Day 5: Luderitz

Your journey leads you in the charming coastal village Lüderitz. Just outside lies the ghost town of Kolmanskop, a popular tourist destination. This previously bustling diamond town is now abandoned and struggles constant against being buried under the shifting sand dunes of the Namib desert.

Days 6 - 7: Sossusvlei

Enjoy a hearty breakfast early in the morning before continuing on to Sossusvlei. After your arrival, enjoy the spectacular landscape that surrounds your desert lodge. During your stay, you have the opportunity to visit the highest dune, Big Daddy, and Deadvlei, the most famous viewpoints in this region. Optionally and depending on what your accommodation offers, you can book a guided tour.

Days 8 - 9: Swakopmund

Continue on to your first destination on the coast, the charming port town of Swakopmund. Enjoy sightseeing and stop off at one of the town's coffee houses for a hot coffee and a traditional homemade slice of cake. Typical Namibian hospitality, contrasted with the cool Atlantic breeze during a stroll along the beach, ensures an unforgettable stay.

Day 10: Spitzkoppe

The journey from Swakopmund to Spitzkoppe takes you through the stunning landscapes of Namibia. The drive is a true adventure, with the ever-changing scenery captivating your senses. As you approach Spitzkoppe, the landscape transforms into a rugged and rocky terrain, with massive granite peaks rising dramatically from the ground. The contrast between the sandy desert and the rocky mountains is awe-inspiring, offering a unique and unforgettable experience for travelers.

Days 11 - 12: Palmwag

Upon arrival in Palmwag, visitors are greeted by the serene environment of the Palmwag Concession, known for its stunning scenery and rich biodiversity, including the iconic desert-adapted elephants and a variety of other wildlife species. This journey not only highlights the natural wonders of Namibia but also offers a unique glimpse into the cultural heritage of the region, making it a memorable experience for all who embark on it.

Day 13: Etosha West

You will spend the next few days extensively with spectacular game viewing in Etosha National Park. During an optional day game drive, explore the amazing wildlife from an open safari vehicle. Refreshments, snacks and entry to the national park are included. During your safari, learn many fascinating details about Etosha as a habitat. Alongside lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas, Etosha is home to one of the most stable black rhino populations in the world. The most famous Etosha Pan - a flat salt pan covering an area of ​​5,000 square kilometers - lies in the heart of the park. 

Days 14 - 15: Etosha South

Have your camera and binoculars ready as you explore Etosha in your own tour vehicle! You will reach your next bush domicile in the wilderness in the early afternoon. After a short break for refreshments, you can go on an optional 4x4 safari with game rangers in the afternoon to get to know the southern Etosha National Park. At sunset, you will not only experience the fascinating beauty of the bush, but also the awakening of the nocturnal wild animals that live here.

Day 16: Onguma Nature Reserve

Today you will drive through the park to the eastern side of Etosha National Park. Your accommodation is located outside of Etosha National Park in the Onguma Game Reserve. Along the way, you have the option of stopping at watering holes to observe wildlife.

Day 17: Okonjima Nature Reserve

Today you will travel to outside the town of Otjiwarongo. Your campsite is located within the Okonjima Nature Reserve.

 

Day 18: Windhoek

Your last stop is Windhoek. During an optional city tour in the afternoon, you will explore some of the most important highlights of the former colonial city and delve into the city's modern history with sights such as the Tintenpalast, the Christuskirche, the old fortresses, the Imperial Secondary School and Heinitzburg and Sanderburg.

Day 19: End of Itinerary

Drive to the airport and return your rental car. Check-in for your flight back home.
