After clearing the entry formalities at the airport you will be met in the arrivals area and then a very short transfer to the hotel so you can relax after your long journey to get here which we recommend doing coming through Paris on Air France.

A charter flight from Zakouma through to the Ennedi area where we will be met by your hosts and transferred into camp. Every where you go will give incredible views through and over the sandstone carved by the winds and sand of the Sahara over millennia. You will look into how the Sahara looked before it really dried out 10, 000 years ago to how we know it today so you can still see very remote communities of people living here with their camel herds and even crocodiles that still exist in the tiny and larger bodies of water that give life to this vast and unexplored wilderness.
Two of the nights here are planned for fly camping out on the Eneddi Massif to enable you to explore so much more plus for an extra cost you will have access to the Helicopter while you are so you really get the complete Sahara experience. This is something that I fully recommend adding in as it gives you a new perspective and allows you to visit areas that would just not be possible otherwise.

Today you fly from Eneddi back to N'Djamena the plan would be to try and arrive back into N'Djamena early afternoon so you could get the day use of a room to relax in readiness for your outward flight in the evening.
This safari is also timed to suit going onwards to Zakouma National Park for a one week safari there with Doug Macdonald.
