NAMIBIA ARRIVAL INFORMATION

Passport information:

• The Namibian Government require all visitors to Namibia to have at least six full blank pages in their passports on arrival into the country and require that the passport be valid for at least six months beyond the intended departure date from Namibia.
• Proof of onward travel documents are also required. Please check your visa requirements. Giltedge cannot be held responsible for refusal of entry into a country for any reason whatsoever.

Entry conditions:

• As of 15 July 2022, a negative PCR test / COVID vaccination certificate is no longer required for entry into Namibia.

Other Conditions:

The wearing of face masks is no longer mandatory but is encouraged in gatherings or meetings.

On arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport off flight LH4356 at 07h50, after disembarking from your flight, make your way through clearing customs & immigration formalities and collecting your luggage, please look out for a signboard with your names on it as you will be met by a Ultimate Safaris representative, who will assist you with clearing customs, immigration formalities and collecting your luggage. You will be handed your detailed travel documents and assisted to the Europcar counter where you will collect your rental vehicle.

Once you have collected your vehicle, make your way to Kalahari Anib Lodge Gondwana Collection Namibia.

Entry Conditions:

• As of 23 June 2022, a proof of COVID vaccination or a negative PCR test are no longer required for entry into South Africa.
• Travellers may be subjected to COVID-19 screening on arrival. Those who present COVID-19 symptoms which include elevated body temperatures and flu-like symptoms, will be required to take a COVID-19 test which should be covered by their travel insurance.

This morning following breakfast and checkout procedures at The Delight Swakopmund Gondwana Collection Namibia, make your way to Walvis Bay Airport in time for your flight 4Z349 at 16h50. On arrival at Walvis Bay Airport, drop off your rental vehicle at the Europcar rental office.

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport off flight 4Z349 at 19h00, after disembarking from your flight, make your way through clearing customs, immigration formalities and collecting your luggage. You will then be assisted to the arrivals hall where you will be met by a Paradise Touring representative who will be waiting to meet you, please look out for a greeting board with your name on it. You will then be transferred to Victoria & Alfred Hotel.

team has given the go ahead, ensuring that all bedrooms are ready for arrivals. Guests checking in
after 8pm should inform us so that we may instruct our night guard to expect you after our check in
cut off time.
Check-out time is strictly 10am. Late check outs after 10am are subject to availability and additional
charges will apply. Please discuss with our front desk on arrival should you wish to request a late
check-out but kindly note that this may not always be available.

Check in time is 14h00, but you are welcome to arrive at Grootbos anytime and make use of the facilities offered. Early arrivals are subject to availability and are charged at an additional cost.

Check out time on the day of departure is 11h00. Late departures are subject to availability and are charged at an additional cost. If we are unable to accommodate your request for a late check-out, we will gladly store your luggage whilst you enjoy your day at Grootbos Nature Reserve.
