On the banks of Lake Victoria lies our beautiful, picture perfect golf resort with a 18-hole golf course, designed by Golf Plan with a challenging layout for golfers of all skill levels. The views of the lake and its surroundings are soft on the eye with ample bird life, while each hole has a different and relaxed feel to it. Its unique features include a finishing hole with an island green that is not seen in many courses. Located at the golf club with a sweeping view of Lake Victoria, this restaurant serves an a la carte menu. The restaurant is also open for hosting private functions and parties during the week with the exception of Friday through Sunday.

The Citadel is an all-day brasserie that offers both an international selection and our Chef’s own array of typical Mediterranean cuisine. A wide selection of snacks can be enjoyed either on the extensive Lake View Pool Terrace, in the Courtyard Lounge or on the Piano Bar Terrace.

Offering cosy warmth and rustic brick arches, Kigo Bar is the essence of Tuscan wine country elegance and a romantic spot for enjoying cocktails and a rich selection of old- and new-world wines. In this intimate ambiance or on the lake-view patio, guests can also enjoy light fare, authentic Italian espressos and cappuccinos and the finest Ugandan tea, fruit and herbal infusions.

Ndali Lodge is set stunningly amidst the Bunyaruguru crater lake region of Western Uganda, 26 kilometres south of Fort Portal. It lies at the centre of 1000 acres of privately owned fertile farmland still cultivated in a traditional style.

Ndali Lodge is a traditional colonial lodge set in the stunning crater region of Western Uganda. Chalet

Our ten comfortable chalets have been designed with the forest in mind, by using eco-friendly materials and applying eco-friendly building standards. The chalets may have been built with consideration for the forest, but comfort hasn't been compromised on.

Inside the spacious chalets you will find large, comfortable beds and everything you need to make yourself at home. The well-appointed and roomy en-suite bathroom with flush toilet contains a rain shower with a copious supply of hot water and equipped with locally produced natural ranges of complementary bathroom amenities. Some chalets also offer a bath-tub for relaxation and enjoyment after the day’s activities.

Mount Gorilla Trekking Buhoma Community Village Walk Bwindi Forest Walk

Mountain gorillas are wild animals and, as such, sightings cannot be guaranteed. However viewing success rates are over 90%. Once sighted, visitors are allowed an hour with the gorillas. Overnighting in Bwindi is required the night before tracking due to your early morning start. As tracking can sometimes take a full day, a second nights accommodation is also highly recommended. Ideally 2 to 3 nights are suggested to enjoy this region.

Gorilla tracking timings and conditions vary tremendously as the gorillas move continuously through the rain forest. It is good to be prepared and remember the weather can change with very little warning. The terrain is often steep and through areas where there are no marked paths. It can be VERY strenuous – it may be just a couple of hours but it can also be for a full day of up to 8 hours or more of hiking in hot, high altitude conditions – please be prepared for this by being as fit as possible!

This walk provides guests with an opportunity to support the local community whilst enjoying visiting various interesting places as you follow a walking trail through the village. Highlights include the traditional healer, banana brewery and Mukono Primary school where you may interact with the children.

This can be undertaken with a Uganda Wildlife Authority guide to allow you to hike along the trails and enjoy the forest flora and fauna. A popular choice is the 3-4 hour hike to the waterfall. Get lost in the ancient forests of Bwindi with an experienced guide on hand. These forests also provide great bird watching opportunities.

Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge is located in Southern Bwindi in Uganda. It is remote and at over 2,000 metres above sea level, it is Uganda’s highest lodge. It sits up on a ridge above the clouds looking across to the Virunga volcanoes and the impenetrable forest that is Bwindi. Guests at Clouds stay in their own cottage. Built of local volcanic stone, every cottage has a large sitting room with fireplace, vast overstuffed armchairs, and hand-woven carpets. Each individual cottage features the work of one of Uganda’s most respected artists.

The main lodge has soaring ceilings, massive exposed wooden beams, big picture windows with endless views of treetops, volcanoes and mountains. It feels like a ski chalet in the alps. Or a stone palace in the Rocky Mountains. But with the gentle and warm welcome, the quiet dedication of the personal butlers and the smiles on the faces of virtually all the staff, this can only be in Uganda. Gorilla Tracking

Gorilla tracking is the highlight of a trip to Clouds, and for many it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

A truly unique wildlife encounter combining wilderness, wonder and awe.

The tracking can take anywhere between 2-8 hours and requires a degree of fitness and physical ability.
