Raffles Hotel Le Royal is one of the finest hotels in Cambodia, and is evocative of a bygone era. Built in 1929, this colonial landmark has had an interesting past and clientele, from well-known journalists reporting on Cambodia's raging civil war to distinguished royalty, as well starring briefly in the film, The Killing Fields.

The hotel's original wing is accompanied by a more recent addition, which accommodates tastefully appointed guest rooms and suites set around manicured gardens and attractive swimming pools. There's also a spa, sauna and steam room, allowing guests to truly relax. DAG 1 PHNOM PENH
LET OP: We ondervinden lage waterstanden die tot april zullen voortduren. Als we Kratie niet kunnen bereiken om de rivierdolfijnen te zien, zal een herziene reisroute worden aangeboden met een spannende variëteit aan excursies.
Passagiers beginnen aan boord van het schip in de middag. Passagiers brengen de middag naar vrije tijd door en het diner wordt aan boord geserveerd.
DAG 2 TONLE RIVIER
Verkenningen op de Tonle River naar een zilverproducerend dorp, Kampong Trolach en Chong Koh, hetzij per schip of per touringcar, afhankelijk van de waterstanden. Deze rivier is erg mooi en er is een levendig, lokaal leven te bezichtigen langs de rivieroevers en in mindere vaartuigen.
DAG 3 KRATIE
Ochtendwandeling bij Angkor Ban en na een hele dag varen door het heerlijke Cambodjaanse platteland bereiken we 's avonds het charmante Franse koloniale stadje Kratie. Geen andere rivierschepen worden zo hoog, maar dankzij de geringe diepgang van de Mekong Pandaw kunnen we het proberen.
DAG 4 DE DOLFIJNGRONDEN
Vanuit Kratie gaan we verder stroomopwaarts met behulp van een lokale bus om de dolfijnengronden in een beschermd natuurgebied te bekijken. 'S Middags stoppen we stroomafwaarts bij onze terugkeer naar een merkwaardig heiligdom dat bekendstaat als de Monkey Temple op weg naar de nacht om te overnachten in de buurt van Kampong Cham.
DAG 5 SIEM REAP
Vroege ochtend transfer naar Siem Reap. Er wordt gezorgd voor versnaperingen en onderweg stoppen we bij Kampong Thom. Aankomst halverwege de middag in Siem Reap.
