Golden Africa offers a luxury five star mobile safari camp, comprising of large (9m x 4m) meru tents, with fully enclosed en suite bathrooms including flush toilet and shower. Beds are 3/4 single or super kind double, stand-alone beds with 400 thread-count pure cotton linen.
The tented camp, provides guests with a go-anywhere, see-anything, experience-all way to travel from the comfort of your own safari camp. Giving the mobility of an entire fully-equipped camp on wheels, this intimate method is an excellent way for a private group to be in an exclusive camp, with furnished tents, enclosed en-suite bathrooms, a private chef, camp staff and vehicles for your sole use and of course, your own private guide. At breakfast around the fire, the sounds of the previous night and the tracks of the various animals that may have passed through the camp, can be used as clues in planning the day’s exploration of the surrounding bush; and by night the day’s sightings can be recollected with a drink by the fire under the starry African sky.
Lunch in the mess tent and three-course dinners under the stars are both served by experienced and friendly camp staff. A complimentary fully-stocked bar is on offer and there are always cold drinks, tea, coffee and drinking water available throughout the day. All tents have a fully enclosed en suite bathroom at the back with a bucket shower and a flushing loo. Linyanti Bush Camp is situated on the banks of Linyanti Marsh in a private reserve which borders the western boundary of Chobe in the Chobe Enclave. The marshes are the only water source for miles around, attracting both water and desert-adapted wildlife, as well as a wide variety of birds.
Linyanti Bush Camp is an intimate 12-bed luxury tented camp on the banks of the Linyanti Marsh, within a Private Concession bordering the western boundary of Chobe in the Chobe Enclave. You will enjoy some of the most spacious and comfortable tented accommodation and beds available today. The bathrooms are private and en-suite, consisting of fixed showers which are housed under the tent and gas-heated, as well as a flush toilet for your convenience.
Water activities are available only when water levels permit. Linyanti is best known for its large populations of elephant and buffalo that congregate in vast numbers especially during the dry season. Other wildlife encounters include lion, sable, roan, leopard, wild dog, the rare and elusive sitatunga antelope, red lechwe, hippo and crocodile, as well as other species of plains game. The area also offers spectacular birding all year round. The area's relative remoteness makes it a favoured wild safari destination and one of the best sought after areas in Northern Botswana.
