The Canadian Empress is a grand ship with a warm and friendly personality. The interior is designed in charming early heritage style, with wood furnishings, brass handrails, and ornate metal ceilings, recapturing the grace of a turn-of-the-last-century lifestyle. All the staterooms are above the waterline and feature opening windows and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. Daily maid service is included.

Meals are served in the Grand Saloon on the Ottawa deck, and this is also where all nightly entertainment is enjoyed. This deck is also home to the Corner Store where guests can purchase souvenirs, toiletries, and other essentials. Guests can sit back on one of the comfortable deck chairs and enjoy some of Canada's most beautiful scenery, or join the Cruise Director on the sun deck for fun activities including shuffleboard or kite flying.
