The reserve is home to seven elephant and six cheetah, its elephants carrying Kruger and Phinda Game Reserve genetics known for larger size and impressive tusks, alongside giraffe, zebra, blue wildebeest, sable antelope, impala, nyala, kudu, eland and resident meerkats, with rarer sightings of aardvark, bat-eared fox, cape fox and hippopotamus, plus over 180 recorded bird species.
