1 Rates: 1.1 Rates are per villa, per night on a self-catering or bed and breakfast basis, inclusive of VAT and Tourism Levy 1.2 1.3 Rates include all taxes deemed by the South African Government regulations at this time and are subject to change without prior notice Rates in 2026/27 are valid from 1 January 2026 – 31 March 2027. Rate validity will resume on a 12-month cycle for the following period i.e. 1 April 2027 – 31 March 2028 2 Booking Terms & Conditions: 2.1 Bookings may be made directly via the Book Now Button on pineapplehouse.co.za or in writing to info@pineapplehouse.co.za 2.2 Provisional bookings will be held for 14 days from date of booking for Low Season 2.3 2.4 Provisional bookings will be held for 7 days from date of booking for High & Peak Season bookings. (See date validity of seasons on rates page) The Pineapple House Collection reserves the right to cancel provisional bookings should confirmation not be received by the given date 3 Payment Terms & Conditions: 3.1 25% non-refundable pre-payment required within 14 days of confirmation of booking (Low Season) 3.2 3.3 3.4 50% non-refundable pre-payment required within 7 days of confirmation of booking (High & Peak Season). Balance due 45 days prior to arrival (Low Season) Balance due 90 days prior to arrival (High & Peak Season) 4 Banking Details: Bank: Investec Bank Limited Account Name: Pineapple House Boutique Hotel Account Number: 10012260451 Branch Code: 580105 Reference: Surname & Booking Code 5 Cancellation Policy: 5.1 Cancellations are only accepted in writing to info@pineapplehouse.co.za 5.2 Low Season 5.2.1 5.2.2 5.2.3 Cancellations received more than 60 days prior to arrival: 25% cancellation fee 59–31 days prior to arrival: 50% cancellation fee 30 days or less prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee 5.3 High & Peak Season 5.3.1 Cancellations received more than 120 days prior to arrival: 25% cancellation fee 5.3.2 119–91 days prior to arrival: 50% cancellation fee 5.3.3 90 days or less prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee 5.4 No-shows will be charged at 100% of the total accommodation value 5.5 Refunds / waiving of deposits and cancellation fees are at the discretion of management 5.6 Bank charges are for the account of the guest / agent 5.7 Discrepancies on invoices are to be addressed at time of booking 5.8 We strongly recommend that guests take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to protect against unforeseen circumstances 6 Room Occupancy: Petit Pineapple House has three bedrooms, and all are configured for two guests sharing 6.1 Room 1 - Master bedroom en-suite 6.2 Room 2 - Double bedroom 6.3 Room 3 - Twin bedroom 6.4 There is a second bathroom which is shared between the double and twin bedrooms 6.5 Baby cots and car seats are available on request (maximum of 1 per property) 7 Child Policy: 7.1 Children of all ages are welcome 7.2 Children of 12 years and younger (maximum three occupants per room) will be accommodated free of charge on a bed only basis if sharing with one or two adults and will be charged for breakfast (Ages 3-12 charged 50% of applicable breakfast rate) 7.3 Children aged 0-2: No charges applicable 7.4 Safety tip: Please note that our pool is uncovered 8 Value Adds: Validity 1 April – 30 September 8.1 Not combinable with any other special offer or discounted rate 8.2 Long Stay Discount – 10% on stays of 3 nights or more 8.3 Long Stay Discount – 15% on stays of 5 nights or more 9 Minimum 2 Night Stay: 16 December – 10 January & Easter Weekend 10 General Terms and Conditions 10.1 Rates are subject to change without prior notice 10.2 Only rack rates may be published across all platforms 10.3 The Pineapple House Collection will keep you informed of any renovations and closures timeously 10.4 Ongoing care and upkeep form part of The Pineapple House Collection’s commitment to maintaining our properties to the highest standard. Any maintenance is planned with guest comfort in mind, and disruption is kept to a minimum. 10.5 Force Majeure: If either party is unable to perform its obligations under this Agreement due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, government restrictions (including travel bans, lockdowns, or capacity limits), war, terrorism, civil unrest, or other similar circumstances rendering performance illegal, impossible, or commercially impracticable (a “Force Majeure Event”), such obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the Force Majeure Event. The affected party shall notify the other party promptly in writing and shall use reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact of the Force Majeure Event. Bookings directly impacted by a Force Majeure Event may be postponed for up to twelve (12) months from the original arrival date, subject to availability. Any prepayments received shall be held in credit and applied to the rescheduled booking. If the booking is not rebooked within twelve (12) months, the parties may, in good faith and in writing, agree to extend the postponement period or apply the credit to alternative dates or services. Failing such agreement, the booking shall be treated in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy in force at the time of the original booking.
