Vergenoegd Löw Boutique Hotel & Spa

Situated on one of the oldest working wine farms in South Africa in a unique position between the Helderberg Mountains and False Bay, Vergenoegd Löw Boutique Hotel & Spa is the perfect base to explore all the major attractions of the Western Cape region.

Comprising three bespoke accommodation options, all the rooms, suites and cottages are nestled in blissful seclusion within manicured vineyards and gardens.

The 15 bespoke rooms, suites and cottages - including an opulent Presidential Suite – are scattered in three different locations on the vast Estate, offering ultimate seclusion and privacy. Each room category has been uniquely furnished and styled providing a tailor made experience for any occasion. While the rooms in the “old farm managers house” exude modern traditional elegance with an eclectic mix of contemporary and antique furniture, the Vineyard Suites boast ultra-modern finishes with floor to ceiling windows. In addition, six traditional Cape vernacular cottages will be completed by 2023 and are ideal for families. All the units are equipped with present-day technology, luxury 5-star amenities and sumptuous design features, including a private terrace or deck with an outdoor shower and either a jacuzzi or a pool.

An exquisite sensory experience awaits at the brand new spa treatment facility. Three luxury couple treatment rooms are available for residents and non-residents to enjoy a range of invigorating massages and rejuvenating facials as well as various hand, foot, and beauty treatments. For the ultimate indulgence, soothe your mind while soaking in a hydrating milk bath.

Residents of Vergenoegd Löw Boutique Hotel are invited to work up a sweat at the adjacent gym and yoga room.

Renowned chef Bertus Basson, together with business partner and head chef Drikus Brink, opened Geuwels and Clara’s Restaurant in September 2021 offering South African authentic cuisine prepared with creative twist and cultural influences, using fresh, seasonal, and indigenous ingredients.

Vergenoegd Löw Wine Estate offers bespoke and exclusive wine tastings in the historic Homestead, dating back to 1773. Experts will introduce guests to the range of estate-grown wines that include red blends, MCC as well as white and red single cultivar wines. Another novelty is the indigenous tasting presented by the tasting room ambassadors in the Homestead where indigenous food like bokkom, umazi and local delicacies are served with wine that compliments, thus delivering a new experience for all the senses.
