Simbavati Trails Camp: No children under 16 years

Inclusions

Accommodation, all meals, two bush walks per day, beverages (excluding premium brands and cellar wines). Return transfers from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport (HDS). Please note special transfer conditions for Simbavati Trails Camp below.

Exclusions

All other drinks, babysitting, private transfers, gratuities, laundry service, other items of a personal nature
Conservation levies, gate entrance fees, additional reserve fees if applicable

As an authentic and immersive walking trails experience, game drives are not available
The camp is closed from 1 December to 28 February every year, being peak summer season when temperatures are at their highest

Payment Policy

All Direct reservations require a 10% deposit upon booking confirmation, to be paid within 7 days
Easter Weekend and Festive Season: 25% non-refundable deposit
Final payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival
All requests, confirmations, and cancellations are only valid if in writing. Please ensure that you receive an acknowledgment of your cancellation from our Reservations Department. The cancellation fee is a percentage of the full accommodation account

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing to res@simbavati.com
Up to 61 days prior to arrival: 10% cancellation fee
31 to 60 days prior to arrival: 25% cancellation fee
15 to 30 days prior to arrival: 75% cancellation fee
14 days prior to arrival: 90% cancellation fee
All cancellation fees are calculated on the total booking value
Please note that 100% cancellation fee will be charged if you decide to depart early while staying with us

Provisional bookings will only be held for 7 days; or 48 hours within 7 days of arrival or if Reservations specifies due to high demand. Thereafter the booking will automatically be released
For reservations within 15 days of arrival, full payment is required upon confirmation• We reserve the right to cancel the booking if deposit or final payment is not received at the appropriate time
Tour Leader/Guide: R1,200 nett (only with a minimum of 12 paying guests)

Check -in & Check -out

Scheduled transfers to Simbavati Trails Camp are compulsory. No private vehicles are permitted to drive to the camp

Departure time from Simbavati Trails Camp to Simbavati River Lodge is at 10:00

The meeting point for guests is Simbavati River Lodge. The transfer to Simbavati Trails Camp departs Simbavati River Lodge at 13:45

The transfer travel time from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport (HDS) is approximately 1½ hours. For guests flying into HDS, flights must land before 12:15 to be on time for the transfer from Simbavati River Lodge to Simbavati Trails Camp. Guests dropping off rental vehicles at HDS must be at the airport between 11:00 and 12:00. Please ensure that you arrive well before the above-mentioned time as the scheduled transfer cannot wait for late arrivals

Self-drive guests are able to park their vehicle at Simbavati River Lodge at no extra charge

Kindly note there is only one daily return transfer to Simbavati Trails Camp. An additional charge will be levied for any late arrivals as a second vehicle will need to be used subject to availability. This would result in guests missing the afternoon bush walk
