ITINERARY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Group size: Group trips average 12 travellers per departure, depending on the adventure. The maximum is usually no more than 16, but some can be smaller or bigger, depending on the trip.
SOLO TRAVELLERS: We believe solo travellers should not have to pay more to travel so our group trips are designed for shared accommodation and do not involve a single supplement. Single travellers joining group trips are paired in twin or multi-share accommodation with someone of the same sex for the duration of the trip. Supplement for private room US$ 1,999.-
Accommodations vary per departure and are subject to change until tour start date. They are not final and should be used as examples only. Service level is tourist class accommodation with character.
West Africahas very few rooms with twin beds (2 beds per room). Please advise soonest if you prefer twin room.
Travel Pro and Cons:
Dry Season (November - March)
- Pros: Less rain, fewer mosquitoes, better road conditions, vibrant holiday events (December), lower flight prices in Jan/Feb.
- Cons: December is peak tourist season (expensive, busy).
- Good for: General tourism, cultural events, beaches, city exploration.
Rainy Season (April - October)
- Pros: Lush landscapes, impressive waterfalls, fewer tourists (outside holidays), cooler temperatures in July/August, good for budget travel.
- Cons: Heavy rain (esp. June), muddy/difficult roads, more mosquitoes.
- Good for: Nature lovers, budget travelers, photography.
Seasonal Highlights
- March: Independence Day celebrations, Heritage Month.
- April: Easter festivities, paragliding.
- July-August: Short dry spell in the south, cooler weather.
- November-December: Peak festive season, concerts, parties ("Detty December").
