Itinerary Terms and Conditions

Confirmation and enlistment process:

After you send us a booking confirmation, please complete the booking form and return it to us. After we receive the completed documents, we will send you a confirmation of receipt.

We will send you a detailed reservation status after confirming all the services.

If you have any special needs due to medical issues, special dietary requirements or simply because of a special occasion during your travel dates, please let us know as early as possible to ensure that we can make the proper arrangements for you.

Before your trip:

It is mandatory to consult a tropical medicine specialist before your travel regarding any medical requirement that might relate to your travel plan. For information about medical requirements in Tanzania, please follow this link. (We recommend starting this process as soon as possible)

It is mandatory to cover yourself and your travel companions with travel insurance, including medical evacuation cover. We also highly recommend that you cover yourself with cancellation and amendment insurance.

About two weeks before your travel dates, we will send you a final program that will include the following:

  • Contact list for accommodation and relevant personnel
  • The final tour program
  • Service vouchers (where needed)
  • Domestic flight tickets (Where needed)
  • Tipping guidelines
  • Status report

Payment terms:

Safaris are booked and confirmed by the Company only upon written acknowledgement of receipt of twenty per cent (20%) of the total safari cost.

The balance of the safari cost for a Safari Group is due forty-five (45) days before the travel date.

Payments can be made by bank telegraphic transfer (USD$ only) or online payment (Stripe), in which case a supplement of 3% on the paid sum will apply.

By filling out the booking form and sending your confirmation, you accept that the African destination general terms and conditions also apply to all our tours.

Any reservation cancellation must be in writing and shall only be effective upon its acknowledged receipt by the African destination.

For each cancellation acknowledged in writing by an African destination sixty (60) or more days before the start of a safari, up to twenty per cent (20%) may be retained by the African destination as cancellation fees.

For each cancellation that is acknowledged in writing by the African destination thirty (30) days or more before the start of a safari but less than sixty (60) days, up to fifty per cent (50%) may be retained by the African destination as cancellation fees.

For each cancellation acknowledged in writing by the African destination less than thirty (30) days before the start of a safari, up to 100 per cent (100%) of the total safari cost may be retained by the African destination as cancellation fees.

Any refund made above and beyond the general cancellation terms set above shall be at the African destination's sole discretion.

IMPORTANT: In some trips, particularly those planned for festive or peak seasons in some of the more popular African destinations (E.g., Botswana and Tanzania), the cancellation terms of particular suppliers might differ from the above. In such a case, we will specify this in our correspondence with you, and these conditions will replace the above terms.
