Itinerary Terms and Conditions

  • No Visa on arrival, all Visa applications and processing need to be done online though www.evisa.go.keyou will receive a notification via email once the payment is made. In case there is a lag time on receiving the Visa the Paid Invoice can be produced at Immigration on arrival and it will get approved there and then.
  • Traveler passport copy must be valid for 6 Months prior to the date of arrival Kenya and with at least two blank pages
  • All Visitors/Tourists/Travelers irrespective of nationality and residency status MUST be fully vaccinated, provide physical proof of vaccination and be in possession of a valid COVID-19 negative PCR test certificate conducted within 96 hours before arrival in Kenya and be verified digitally through the Trusted Travel Initiative.  
  • Note* after the clients get the Covid 19 Negative certificate they will receive a link via SMS and Email with a code for their trusted travel certificate which needs to also be presented to health officials on arrival in Kenya.
  • All travelers (children) below the age of 5 years will be exempted from COVID-19 negative PCR test to enter Kenya 
  • All inbound and outbound passengers aged 18 years and above are required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination unless they have a certificate of exemption from a medical practitioner. COVID-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) are considered valid by public health officials in Kenya
  • All travelers arriving into Kenya are being subjected to random Covid-19 testing
  • Rapid Covid-19 tests being offered at JKIA is mandatory for all travelers arriving from SA
  • The test results are released within 30 mins. However, for high volumes of arrivals, there might be delays.
  • The tests are being conducted at JKIA airport (Terminal 1A) and a seating area has been provided for the arriving passengers. 
  • The rapid Covid-19 test costs are fully covered by GoK (Government of Kenya), and they are being administered by the Port Health team.
  • A random antigen test may be taken by port health officers, depending on risk evaluation of the country of origin. From 1st Dec, travelers originating their travel or transiting through South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia, Israel, Hong Kong, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Czech Republic within the previous 14 days will undergo a free rapid antigen test on arrival for surveillance purposes
  • Any traveler testing positive will be required to take a PCR test and isolated awaiting results. If the PCR is positive, passengers will need to isolate for 10 days at Government of Kenya approved isolation facilities at their own cost, with a repeat PCR test on day 7
  • Referring to the KENYA MINISTRY OF HEALTH directive issued by the Government of Kenya’s National Emergency Response Committee, all travelers MUST show a physical proof of Covid Vaccination Certificate (for both doses) to access hotels and restaurants this is a requirement for all guests above 18 years effective from 21st December 2021

  • Travelers coming from a jurisdiction or countries that the Trusted Traveler Certificate is not available and Testing clinic is not registered on the PanaBIOS System will use the Global Haven Portalhttps://globalhaven.org/ or the trusted traveler portal on https://africacdc.org/trusted-travel/ to generate the travel code. This process should be done by the PCR testing clinic (kindly confirm the same with your registered PCR testing clinic if they are able to process the Trusted Traveler Certificate before booking your appointment)
  • All Travelers irrespective of nationality and residency status coming to Kenya from the UK via any route of travel shall be required to submit daily health information on the Jitenge Platform / App for 14 consecutive days
  • Travelers arriving in Kenya must complete an online COVID-19 Travelers Health Surveillance Form before their arrival. The online registration form can be found on the “Jitenge” platform, accessible via the following https://ears.health.go.ke/airline_registration/ or the “Jitenge” App (available on the Google Play Store). After submitting the form, travelers will receive a QR code which must be presented to port health officials for them to be allowed to proceed to arrival immigration. Arrivals will then be expected to self-monitor and report daily to the same platform for their first 14 days in Kenya.
  • Travelers do not need a COVID-19 negative test to board domestic flights within Kenya and they are required to wear surgical face masks at all times.
  • A PCR negative test needs to be done before arrival back to the client’s country of origin (a Valid test usually within 72 hours of arrival back or unless stated otherwise by the countries protocols)
  • If you get the Covid 19 Vaccination, it is still mandatory to do the PCR test before arrival and departure from Kenya

  • Yellow Fever Vaccination is required for entering any country within East Africa and should be dated at least 10 Days before the Date of Arrival. For clients coming from the US, Europe or UK they don’t need the Yellow Fever Vaccination However they will require this on departure from Kenya depending on the transit country / country they are returning to hence we highly recommend all clients to get this vaccination. If you are connecting through other East African countries the Yellow Fever Vaccination is Mandatory
  • Kenya has stopped the visa-free transit arrangement with Pakistan till further notice.
