Introduction

Welcome to Iguazú!

The province of Misiones is located in the furthest north east corner of Argentina, touching borders with both Brazil and Paraguay. The capital of the province is Posadas, a city located on the west shore of the Paraná river and gateway to the Ibera Wetlands and the Mocona Waterfalls  The primary highlight of Misiones province is unquestionably the world famous Iguazú Fallsa world heritage site and one of the new 7 Wonders of Nature. With over 250 waterfalls surrounded by the tropical jungle of Argentina and Brazil, one can't get much closer to nature in all her glory.

Two hours from the world famous Iguazú Falls, Yacutinga Lodge and it’s wild life Reserve, is located deep in the pristine part of the Misiones jungle, almost entirely surrounded by the upper Iquazú river, – the same river that curves through the National Parks of Argentina and Brazil, and continues to flow southward to form a gigantic horseshoe, that becomes the majestic waterfalls. At Yacutinga, the immeasurable force of nature touches the tourists that come together from around the world with the expectation of seeing the miracle of life itself.
