At 14,651 sq km Hwange National Park is Zimbabwe's largest unfenced Park and possibly one of Africas greatest in terms of its incredible diversity of wildlife boasting over 100 species of mammals, including 19 large herbivores and over 400 species of birds. Hwange is best known for having one of the largest Elephant populations in the world. Our Vintage and Imvelo Combined Horse Safari allows you to experience two dramatically different but equally breathtaking areas of one of the last true unfenced wildernesses of Africa.
This ride begins in the East of the park in true vintage explorer style before heading down to the South where you get to ride on the famous Ngamo Plains. There are a range of activities to enhance you horseback adventure such as game drives both day and night, walking safaris, birdwatching, community and conservation tours and the highlight for most guests is the Elephant Express Railcar which transfers you from the East to the South of the park.
Within our herd of twenty-two top safari horses with breeds ranging from thoughrobreds, boereperds, percherons and quaterhorses and heights varying between 15,3 to 16,7 hands you are bound to find your perfect partner.

Recommended Stay
We do not have set departure dates so you are welcome to choose the dates that would best suit your itinerary. We have a minimum stay policy of 3 nights but recommend 5-10 nights or longer.
Honeymoon Suite
For honeymoon clients we highly recommend our new, tented honeymoon suite complete with a bath on a raised platform and a larger private deck on which newlyweds and celebrating couples can enjoy a very special private dining experience. This option is available at a surcharge cost of only GBP 150.00 per couple per night.
