Dear Traveller,
This journey has been carefully designed as a seamless combination of safari, culture, and coastal relaxation across Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Mozambique. It blends remote wilderness, iconic landmarks, and oceanfront tranquillity into one continuous and enriching experience.
Your adventure begins in Zimbabwe, where the Zambezi River sets the tone with its lush islands and wildlife-rich banks. From here, you move into Hwange National Park, one of Africa’s most important elephant strongholds, offering immersive safari experiences in both central and eastern regions of the park. Game drives, walking safaris, and intimate wildlife encounters provide a deep connection to the African bush in its purest form.
From Hwange, the journey continues to Victoria Falls, one of the greatest natural wonders of the world. Here, the power of the Zambezi River meets dramatic rainforest scenery, with time to explore the Falls at leisure and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of this iconic destination.
The route then transitions to South Africa for a brief but comfortable overnight in Johannesburg, before continuing north to Mozambique. On arrival in Vilanculos, you cross into a completely different rhythm of travel — where white sand beaches, turquoise waters, and island horizons define the experience.
The final days are spent at AsDunas in the Bazaruto region, a secluded coastal retreat where time slows down. Here, barefoot luxury replaces safari adventure, with days dedicated to relaxation, ocean excursions, and the natural beauty of one of Africa’s most pristine marine environments.
Altogether, this itinerary offers a balanced and immersive journey — combining classic safari landscapes with world-famous natural wonders and ending in pure coastal serenity along the Indian Ocean.

Pricing & Budget Notes
The overall cost of this itinerary will depend on several key factors, including travel season, accommodation category, and final group size. As this journey combines safari lodges, city hotels, and a coastal retreat, pricing is influenced by a mix of remote wilderness experiences and more accessible urban and beach stays.
Seasonality plays an important role, with shoulder and low seasons typically offering more favourable rates while still delivering excellent wildlife viewing and comfortable weather conditions. Higher demand periods will naturally result in increased pricing, particularly in Victoria Falls and Mozambique’s coastal regions.
Group size can also significantly impact the per-person cost, as shared transfers, guides, and logistics become more efficient with multiple travellers. In addition, the level of lodge selection—from classic safari camps to more premium properties—will directly influence the overall budget.
As a broad guideline, itineraries of this type in Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Mozambique typically start from approximately €450 to €650 per person per night on average, depending on the level of accommodation and inclusions selected. Coastal properties in Mozambique and safari lodges in Hwange and the Zambezi region generally sit at the higher end of this range, while city stays in Johannesburg are more moderate.
Final pricing will always be refined based on confirmed travel dates, availability, and the exact mix of lodges selected.
