Gonarezhou is quickly becoming the worst kept secret in Zimbabwe and Africa as one of those must see places. It has an amazing variety of animals, birds and habitats and some of the finest vistas in any wild place of Africa. This safari takes you to three of the best areas inside this park that are distinctly different from one another so it will be like being in a new park at each camp.
Currently this park has the highest density of elephants in Africa so they are certainly a big part of your experience here and great to watch in their family herds coming in and out for water at this dry time of year.
This time of year has the added extra that our migrant bird species are arriving so there is always a few surprises which we will keep our eyes open for. We will also see some of the residents like the weavers going into their more familiar breeding plumages.
