Introduction

Starting on 20th October 2026, and now in its fifth year, this extraordinary safari continues to evolve—and for 2026, it offers something truly special.

New for this year is a stay at Lwenge, the private, newly created camp by Classic Zambia, situated within the Musekese Concession. This addition opens up even more of this now significantly expanded private area, adding a fresh dimension to an already exceptional safari.

As always, the safari will be led by Tony McKeith, whose deep knowledge of Zambia and long-standing relationships with the people, places, and wildlife bring real depth to the experience.

No two years are ever quite the same—each safari reflects the natural rhythms and changes in the bush, ensuring an experience that is both rewarding and responsive to the landscape.

This journey takes you across two of Zambia’s most iconic National Parks: the Kafue and the Lower Zambezi. The camps used are run by Classic Zambia, known for their expert guiding and conservation-driven ethos. These remote and carefully chosen locations serve as ideal gateways to some of the most biodiverse regions in southern Africa.

Whether you’re a passionate wildlife photographer, seeking close-up encounters with big game, a birding enthusiast, or simply looking to connect more deeply with the wild, this safari offers a rich variety of experiences. You’ll enjoy expertly guided day and night game drives, immersive walking safaris, and access to large, uncrowded areas—now even more extensive with the inclusion of Lwenge and the enlarged Musekese Concession.

Charter flights between locations ensure minimal travel time and offer spectacular views of the vast wilderness areas you’ll be exploring.

By joining this safari, you’re also supporting meaningful conservation. Musekese Conservation, co-founded by the team behind Classic Zambia, plays a vital role in anti-poaching work and ecological protection in the region. Funded in large part by guests visiting Classic Zambia, this initiative is a great example of how tourism, when done well, can make a tangible difference.

This safari is not just a trip—it’s a genuine journey into the heart of Zambia, guided by people who live and breathe this landscape.
