Come fly with me on this unique, small group air/cruise expedition to Antarctica. This amazing fly and sail expedition departs from Punta Arenas, Chile on the 15th February 2023 for a 8 day/7 night life changing adventure.
Antarctica is an ecological wonder that has bewitched explorers, scientists and voyagers alike for two centuries. There’s pure, stark beauty in Antarctica and a sense of remoteness so extreme it’s as if you’ve travelled to another planet than the one you thought you knew.
This fascinating territory contains more than 90% of the earth’s land ice, which transforms it into the largest fresh water reserve on earth.
Among the main species that make up marine Antarctic fauna are whales, seals, penguins as well as a variety of sea birds. Your adventure to the seventh continent will allow you to meet these incredible creatures while enjoying the indelible scenery of mountainous glaciers and roaming icebergs.
Antarctica’s matchless beauty and extreme climate conditions make this one of the most exotic destinations in the world.
Antarctica 21 offers a boutique-style wilderness adventure not a cruise and provides a wonderful alternative to the traditional navigation from South America across the stormy waters of the Drake Passage.
A two-hour flight (instead of a two day sailing across the Drake Passage) takes you from Punta Arenas in Chilean Patagonia, directly to Antarctica where you board your expedition ship. You will sail between the South Shetland Islands and the western coast of the Antarctic Peninsula on the MV Magellan Explorer.
With only 74 passengers, embarkation and disembarkation on the MV Magellan Explorer is fast and efficient so you spend the most time exploring - not waiting. Enjoy up to 6 hours of landings and explorations each day viewing ice-filled fjords and spectacular icebergs, while spotting penguins, seals, and whales that call the White Continent home.

I have been to South America 5 times during my 32 years in the travel industry but never to Antarctica. I would be thrilled if you would join me and a small group of like-minded friends on this amazing adventure.
