Once in a lifetime nature safari to Malaysian Borneo, where some the oldest rainforests on the planet await. Borneo is also home to endangered Orangutans among many other rare mammals and endemic species of flora and fauna. It offers fantastic setting for wildlife and birding photography and is wonderful and safe destination for families with children.
On this wildlife expedition we visit two of the most famous Orangutan sanctuaries, marvel at natures creations in Mulu National Park a Unesco World Heritage site with worlds largest cave entrance and cool elevated walkways and canopy walks. Travelling deep into heart of Borneo and Danum Valley we base ourselves in best wildlife lodge of Borneo, a perfect base for wildlife explorations and mingling with convervationists and researchers. In Sukau we explore the Kinabatagan river basin by boat allowing easy and comfortable viewing. We complete this amazing journey with two nights stay in wonderful Langkayan private island resort, a perfect place for slowing down and relaxing, diving and learning about marine sea turtle conservation. The island has its' own turtle harchery and conservation centre and is blessed with frequent nesting sea turtles landing during dark hours to lay eggs on the islands' beautiful and undisturbed beaches.
