This safari is timed for you to witness the great Wildebeest Migration that comes flooding into this area from the North for the succulent short grasses that have been invigorated by the rains- At this time of year the herds starting to drop their calves which typically starts to happen for the wildebeest from late January onwards. This of course is also a major draw card for the predators so there is always a chance of being able to see special predators like Cheetah, Southern Lions or Spotted Hyena on the hunt and taking advantage the incredible volume of animals and their young.
An excellent safari that is easily added to with extra nights on safari either on the Serengeti or Tarangire, you may also choose to add a few nights on the beautiful East African Coast and Islands.
