This unique 14-day journey takes you on a full circuit around Lake Victoria, combining remote islands, iconic wildlife, and authentic cultural encounters across three countries.
Starting in Nairobi, you travel west to the Kenyan shores of Lake Victoria, exploring the tranquil islands of Mfangano Island, Takawiri Island, and Mbita. Here, you experience relaxed lake life, sandy beaches, and local fishing communities.
Crossing into Tanzania, continue to the legendary Serengeti National Park for two days of classic safari, with vast plains, abundant wildlife, and excellent chances to see predators and large herds. From there, travel to Mwanza on the southern shores of the lake, where a boat excursion offers a different perspective of this inland sea.
The journey continues to the remote Rubondo Island National Park, where you stay in simple TANAPA bandas and explore the island on guided bush walks, discovering its unique forest wildlife and birdlife. In Biharamulo District, a homestay provides insight into local traditions and daily life.
Crossing into Uganda, you travel to Masaka before taking the ferry to the tropical Ssese Islands. Spend two nights at Brovad Sands Lodge, enjoying beach time and optional activities such as canoeing, biking, or island exploration.
The journey ends with a scenic drive to Entebbe for your flight home—an unforgettable adventure through Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, showcasing the diversity and hidden beauty of the Lake Victoria region.
