This is our flagship Cape Town safari package, offering an authentic Big 5 safari experience in a well established wildlife reserve. Animals that once roamed the area freely living amongst the San Bushmen for millenia but were eradicated over time, have now been reintroduced into this magnificent wildlife reserve. The Big 5 – Lion, Leopard (rarely spotted in the Western Cape), Buffalo, Elephant and Rhinoceros as well as various other species such as Gemsbok, Springbok, Hartebeest, Eland, Kudu, Black Wildebeest and Zebra will be seen on Sanbona Wildlife Reserve. Natural small game such as Jackal, Caracal, Aardwolf, Ant bear, Brown Hyena, Grey Rhebuck, Steenbuck, Klipspringer, Grysbok and Common Duiker continue to thrive.

Includes:
ALL meals, 2 daily nature drives, guided wilderness walks, a limited selection of house beers and wines, all on-drive snacks and beverages, internal reserve transfers between the lodges and welcome lounge, tourism levy and 15% VAT.
Excludes:
Daily conservation levy, babysitting, additional alcoholic and premium beverages, discretionary gratuities and all items of a personal nature, which must be settled directly prior to departure.
Persons under the age of 14 years are not permitted on any walking safaris.
This safari is a self-drive package to the reserve and excludes any transport from cities such as Cape Town.

Take advantage of being on the world's longest wine route, the famous Route 62 by booking private road transfers. On the return journey, enjoy some leisurely touring over scenic mountain passes, and optional wine tastings (own account) in a choice of either Wellington, Franschhoek, Paarl & Stellenbosch wine regions.
