Soneva Jani is located in the Noonu Atoll in the Medhufaru Lagoon which comprises five islands, the largest of which is Medhufaru.
Soneva Jani encompasses a collection of Water Villas and Island Sanctuaries set within a lagoon of crystal clear waters, fringed by pristine beaches and blanketed in lush tropical greenery.
The highlight of the islands that the resort calls home is the 5.6 km private lagoon that surrounds it; an azure spectacle that inspires a sense of calm.
Soneva Jani can be reached by a scenic 45-minute seaplane flight direct from Malé, a 60 minute speedboat ride from Soneva Fushi, or by a leisurely half-day cruise from Soneva Fushi on board Soneva in Aqua.
In order to make it to onto the last seaplane you need to arrive in Malé by 15:30 as the last seaplane departs at 16:30.
If you arrive after the last seaplane leaves for Soneva Jani, you can still take a domestic flight to Soneva Fushi and stay there for the night, before being transferred to Soneva Jani the next day.
