This 10 night Botswana Classic Safari combines 3 of the prime safari destinations of Botswana - the Okavango Delta, the Savute Channel in the Chobe National Park. It then ends with 2 nights at Victoria Falls.
This safari starts in Maun and ends in Victoria Falls, though the routing can be reversed. You fly into Maun and connect by charter flight to the glorious Moremi Game Reserve adjacent to the Okavango Delta. Here you experience predominantly land-based activities though game-viewing by boat is also an option. Next you head deep into the Okavango delta where you will experience the water-based safari activities including mokoros, boat-based game-viewing and also bush walks!
Then you head to either Chobe river front (as shown) or to Savute Safari Lodge in the Savuti channel region.
3 nights in the Moremi Game Reserve: Camp Moremi or Camp Xakanaxa.
2 nights in a water-based lodge: Camp Okavango or Camp Xugana (shown in this sample itinerary).
3 nights in Chobe National Park: Chobe Game Lodge or Savute Safari Lodge
You can choose between Savute Safari Lodge (for a small supplement) or Chobe Game Lodge which is further north in the Chobe National Park close to the Chobe River.
Finally you continue by road to Victoria Falls for 2 nights at Ilala Lodge in a deluxe room. Here you can explore the Falls under your own steam as it is walking distance from the hotel. But we have arranged a luxurious sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
