Qinti One! is a carefully designed program which takes you from the central Andes of Chonta to the base of the wonderful snow-capped Salkantay mountain, through lush cloud-forest all the way to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.
It is a combination of acclimatizing hikes, Andean wildlife, incredible landscape, leisure and community interaction. Our glamping sites include beautiful tents with comfortable beds and bedding, private bathrooms and hot water showers, high quality food and service.
Qinti One! is designed as a slow paced hike which covers 10-15 km every day. The more challenging hike across the Salkantay pass is assisted by mules and horses and given the high elevation we offer the possibility to ride on a horse to reach the highest part of the pass.
