Your itinerary begins on arrival in Arusha, where you will enjoy an evening at the Arusha Coffee Lodge, an excellent spot for relaxing and adjusting to African time. Then your Tanzanian safari begins in earnest, with 4 nights in the Northern Serengeti, at Serengeti Bushtops, where you may have the opportunity to witness the world's greatest wildlife phenomenon, the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra, as well as enjoying the area's outstanding resident game. For an extra thrill, take a hot air balloon excursion for a bird's eye view across the landscape (additional cost, must be pre-booked)
After a flight from the Serengeti to Manyara airstrip, and continue on to Entamanu, also an excellent location from which to visit the crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The caldera formed by this extinct volcano is home to rich landscapes and the largest population of permanent wildlife anywhere in Africa - you'll enjoy a picnic lunch during your visit. In addition to a day in the crater, guests can enjoy a rim walk or Maasai cultural visit.
Finally, you will journey to Chem Chem Lodge, in the heart of Tarangire for a 3 night stay, enjoying game viewing in Tarangire National Park and on the private concession.
