Participate in this incredible once-in-a-lifetime hands-on wildlife conservation safari and contribute directly to conservation!
Assist with necessary wildlife management procedures working with the endangered rhino, the mighty lion and the aggressive buffalo under the watchful eye of your wildlife veterinarian.
Accompanied on the entire safari by your African Vet Safaris veterinarian, this hands-on safari gives guests the chance to learn more about Africa’s wildlife in a unique way.
The safari uses discussion and practical sessions to illustrate the need for hands-on wildlife management in modern day conservation and takes guests behind the scenes, affording the opportunity to interact with wildlife vets, researchers and guides, while discovering the fantastic world of wildlife in Southern Africa.
The safari starts with an overnight stop in Johannesburg to facilitate arrivals, and then heads into the bush for more traditional wildlife viewing activities, making sure that first time visitors don’t miss out, before heading to where we will participate in veterinary wildlife management procedures on the reserve.
