14-day Kruger, Eswatini & Lesotho

Introduction

As we commence our illustrious safari through the heartlands of Kruger, Eswatini, and Lesotho, our first footsteps lead us into the lush terrain of the Kruger National Park. Here, we indulge in an exhilarating encounter with Africa’s majestic Big Five — the valiant lions, elusive leopards, magnificent rhinos, mighty elephants, and formidable buffalos, marking this as an unrivaled South African safari.

Feel your pulse racing with the rush of immersing yourself in one of Africa’s most extensive wildlife reserves. Our journey unfolds further as we delve into the picturesque Panorama Route, a day set aside for basking in the region’s natural grandeur. We traverse to the mesmerizing spectacles of Bourke’s Luck Potholes, the iconic Three Rondavels, the awe-inspiring God’s Window, and the monumental Blyde River Canyon, the world’s third largest canyon.

Bidding farewell to Kruger National Park, we venture across the boundary, welcoming the serene kingdom of Eswatini, formerly known as Swaziland. Nestled within its tranquil confines is the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, where we indulge in additional wildlife experiences.

Our journey circles back into South Africa, leading us to the sprawling Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve. Here, we embark on a safari drive, tracking down the Big Five that make their home within these borders. As afternoon approaches, we swap our land vehicle for a boat, setting sail on the St Lucia estuary for a different perspective on Africa’s wildlife.

Our adventure doesn’t stop at the water’s edge. We journey into the soul of South Africa, climbing to the staggering heights of the Drakensberg mountains. With your guide leading the way, embark on a mountainous hike that is sure to challenge and reward you in equal measure.

Next, we venture into the highlands of Lesotho, an opportunity to embrace the Basotho way of life by testing your skills at pony trekking. Known for their agility and grace, the Basotho ponies offer a unique way to explore these captivating landscapes.

Our journey concludes with a trip to the renowned Addo Elephant National Park. While its namesake elephants are the park’s crown jewels, recent expansions have catapulted Addo to the status of the third-largest national park in South Africa. This epic expedition promises to be more than a safari; it’s a journey of a lifetime.
