Introduction

Embark on a 20-day adventure across Uganda, a journey packed with wildlife, stunning landscapes, and unforgettable experiences. The trip begins in Kigali, where you explore the city and visit the Genocide Memorial Museum before heading east to Akagera National Park for your first taste of safari life, with game drives and a sunset boat cruise.

Next, you travel to Volcanoes National Park, staying at the eco-friendly Le Bambou Lodge. Here, you trek through bamboo forests to see the playful golden monkeys and pay homage to the legendary Dian Fossey Tomb, surrounded by forest wildlife.

The journey continues to Lake Bunyonyi, where you relax by the water, enjoy a canoe ride, and explore the floating market, soaking in the serene landscapes and local culture. From there, you head to Buhoma in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, meeting the Batwa community and preparing for one of the trip’s highlights: gorilla trekking through the misty mountains.

Afterward, you travel to Lake Mburo, enjoying walking safaris, horseback rides, and boat trips to spot zebras, giraffes, and rare birds. Then it’s time to explore Queen Elizabeth National Park, including the Ishasha sector famous for its tree-climbing lions, thrilling game drives, and a scenic Kazinga Channel boat cruise.

The adventure takes you north to Murchison Falls National Park, with morning game drives to see elephants, buffalo, and Rothschild giraffes, followed by a boat ride to the base of the mighty falls. After a long but scenic drive, you reach Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Uganda’s most remote and breathtaking parks, where early morning and afternoon game drives reveal lions, leopards, buffalo, and endless savannah landscapes.

Finally, the journey winds back south, with stops in Kampala, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for on-foot rhino trekking, and a last glimpse of Uganda’s incredible wildlife before being dropped at Entebbe Airport to return home.

Over 20 days, this journey blends thrilling wildlife encounters, cultural experiences, and serene moments in nature, making it a true Pearl of Africa adventure, full of stories you’ll tell for a lifetime.
