Begin with one night at Serena Dar es Salaam, perfectly placed for a smooth arrival into Tanzania, with private transfers to and from the airport included. Continue by light aircraft into the wild south for three nights at Rufiji River Camp, set along the banks of the Rufiji River in Nyerere National Park, where game drives, boat safaris and walking safaris offer an immersive introduction to this vast, untamed reserve.
Fly on to Ruaha National Park for three nights at Ruaha River Lodge, dramatically positioned on the Great Ruaha River and renowned for excellent big-game viewing, rugged landscapes and a strong sense of wilderness.
The journey ends on the coast with a scheduled lodge flight back to Zanzibar, where you spend three nights at The Coffee House in Stone Town.
