- La Cienega, situated at the slopes of the majestic Cotopaxi Volcano with 300 years of history, including an overnight visit from famous liberator Simon Bolivar.
- Hacienda Cusin, located close to the beautiful San Pablo Lake and the Imbabura Volcano. A charmingly restored 17th century Andean estate, with wonderful gardens.
Short Itinerary:
- DAY 1 Transfer to El Porvenir + Horseback riding in the Cotopaxi area, riding through Andean landscapes with views of the volcano + Transfer to La Ciénega.
- DAY 2 Transfer to Otavalo + Free afternoon to relax, explore the surroundings, and acclimatize.
- DAY 3 Visit the Otavalo handicraft market, followed by a Cuicocha Lake hike with beautiful crater-lake views + Transfer to Quito.
