We created this safari to appeal to wildlife lovers who want a very different experience. Kenya has brilliant wildlife and the Northern Territories are home to many of the more unusual species including Grevy's Zebra and Reticulated Giraffe, in addition to all of the other iconic big game species.
Join this safari and you will experience these animals through the eyes of the Masai and Samburu tribes who live here. Four days are spent walking across the rangelands (as part of our small private group) as part of a walking camel trek safari. The mobile camps are elegant in their simplicity. Built-up quickly in the most incredible wilderness areas, the backdrop of bird song and wildlife is enhanced by the gentle voices of the warriors.
The landscape of rolling hills and rocky outcrops is beyond beautiful and creates the most incredible photo opportunities. From the Hills of the North, we fly to the vast grasslands of the Masai Mara ecosystem. We will stay at a small tented safari camp, the preferred camp for many documentary-makers and photographers. Expect prolific wildlife numbers of all kinds.
The open vistas on the plains, combined with the eagle eyes of our very experienced guides, mean that each day can produce not just sightings of incredible animals, but also the chance to witness and photograph all of their behaviours as they feed, hunt and maybe even give birth.
