The Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association in partnership with G/Hardy Tours is thrilled to offer this once in a lifetime trip to Italy, during the Jubilee.
All are welcome! This trip is open to OECTA’s Religious AQ course registrants as well as all OECTA members and their guests. Members can choose to travel to Italy as part of their AQ course or simply to experience a one-of-a-kind and once-in-a-lifetime cultural and faith experience, rooted in our rich Catholic faith.
The Jubilee called by Pope Francis for the year 2025 is themed, “Pilgrims of Hope”. To learn more about the Jubilee, click here.
Italy is among the top 3 most visited European countries for good reason. It offers countless cathedrals, vineyards, picturesque beaches, iconic landmarks and culinary delights that will satisfy any palette. In addition to exploring many religious and holy sights in Italy, this trip will explore the sights, sounds, flavours and lifestyle of some of Italy’s most spectacular locations such as Rome, Vatican City, Assisi, Florence, Siena, Tuscany Countryside, San Gimignano, Parma, and Cinque Terre.

Tour Price A: $5,945.00 Per Person based on 24 participants (twin/double occupancy) + 2 OECTA Instruction Staff & a G/Hardy Rep
Tour Price B: $5,700.00 Per Person based on 40 participants (twin/double occupancy) + 3 OECTA Instruction Staff & a G/Hardy Rep.

- Non-refundable deposit due upon trip registration: $500.00
- *Optional Travel Insurance (highly recommended) - if interested, this must be purchased upon trip confirmation
- Second payment due January 31st, 2025: $2,500.00
- Final payment (including single supplement fee, if applicable) due April 3rd, 2025

- Any meal not mentioned in the itinerary & beverages
- Optional Excursions Ferrari & Food tour = $450.00 Per Person (based on a minimum of 10 paying)
- Optional Excursion Cinque Terre Beach day & Hike = $350.00 Per Person (based on a minimum of 10 paying)
- Single supplement: $995.00 CAD
- Gratuities: $80.00 per person
- Optional Travel Insurance (highly recommended) - if interested, this must be purchased upon trip registration
- Schengen Visa or ETIAS expenses (possibly being introduced 2024)
Course Fee: The cost of the course is in addition to the cost of the trip. Course fees are payable to OECTA once you've registered for the trip. You can only register and take ONE course during this trip. Friends and family are welcome (even if they are not taking the course)
