For nine out of twelve months of the year, Namaqualand is a dry, barren semi-desert. However, the life-giving rainfall transforms the landscape into something out of a fairytale. The desert becomes covered in a thick, lush wildflower landscape. It creates perfect, colourful yet natural artwork to explore with our custom cycle tours on the West Coast of Africa.
