Starting in Lusaka on 1st October 2025
A safari which we are incredibly proud of and enthusiastic about. Planned for the height of the dry season when the drama of bush is intensified as animals are drawn to water and migrating birds arrive in vast numbers.
Join us on a journey through simply breathtaking world-class wildlife regions guided by some of Zambia's most highly regarded safari operators. These camps are not just run but owned by true safari experts and conservationists, ensuring that guiding excellence, genuine conservation ethics, and authenticity are at the heart of your safari experience.
This exclusive small group safari is designed for a maximum of six guests. Tony McKeith, a renowned wildlife expert, will personally escort you throughout, ensuring you get the most out of these world-class safari destinations and have an unforgettable experience.
Tony's passion for wildlife led to the creation of Busanga Safaris. This inspiration was passed on to his son, Tyrone McKeith, who earned a degree in Conservation Ecology. Together with Phil Jeffery, they founded Jeffery & McKeith Safaris which evolved into Classic Zambia who own and run all of the safari camps in this safari. And Reel Nature Film which hosts and guides the BBC and other in creating wonderful wildlife documentaries which inspire us all today. Most importantly, this journey has led to the creation of Musekese Conservation.
Musekese Conservation is dedicated to preserving wildlife and their habitats, ensuring a safe future for the very scenes that once captivated me on television. Our efforts include [anti-poaching patrols, habitat restoration projects, and community education initiatives], all aimed at protecting the rich biodiversity of Zambia.
Combining conservation and specialised guiding into a unique guest experience. The camps used are some of the few remaining owner-run operations in Zambia, a country with one of the richest wildlife heritages on the African continent.
To maximise safari time, we will use private charter flights to move seamlessly between two incredible National parks.
Starting in the Lower Zambezi National Park on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, game drives in open-topped 4WD Land Cruisers are a fantastic way to see the park. A walking safari with a highly qualified guide and armed Wildlife officer is a must-do here. Boat trips are perfect for up-close encounters with hippos, basking crocodiles, and elephants feeding on the edge, swimming, or crossing the Zambezi.
Two camps in remote Northern Kafue, the now iconic Musekese at Eden and the rustic Ntemwa-Busanga, are perfect for exploring and experiencing many wildlife species, some extremely rare, such as [African wild dogs and sable antelopes], that can not be found anywhere else in Zambia. The deep links between Busanga Safaris, Classic Zambia safaris, tourism and conservation, and their desire to provide authentic experiences rekindle a deep love and care for Africa's wild places. Our guests will enjoy an exceptional safari experience, and by default, by joining this safari, you become part of the conservation solution for Zambia's wildlife.
