We have designed this safari to maximise the diversity of wildlife sightings by visiting three iconic areas:
Amboseli - Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Over 1,000 live here, including some of the largest elephants recorded in Africa.
Laikipia - The Laikipia region has the richest diversity of wildlife in Kenya outside of the Masai Mara – and protected areas like Ol Pejeta are key to conserving this natural wonder. As well as a wide variety of wildlife, this is an excellent place to see both Southern White and Black Rhino.
Masai Mara - Witness some of the world's most diverse wildlife within the dramatic scenery of this world-famous eco-system. There are plenty of big cat sightings and action to be found here with large lion prides, cheetah families and leopard.
Each camp is situated within a private wildlife conservancy for an intimate and private safari experience away from the crowds, Camps are small, and authentic but with spacious tents and en-suite bathrooms; eco-friendly with bucket showers, lighting in the tents from solar power and drinking water provided.
A typical day.... Tea, coffee and biscuits come with a morning wake-up call at 5.30am to get you ready for your morning game drive. Picnic breakfast if you have a longer morning drive. Return to camp and relax in comfortable lounge areas with views to watch wildlife and birds from. Enjoy lunch and rest before afternoon tea and cake at 3.30pm. Afternoon game drives with a lovely spot chosen for sundowners so you can stretch your legs and soak up the scenery. Return to camp, wash and freshen up before a three course dinner is served. Drift off to sleep listening to the soothing sounds of the bush at night.
