Safari Idea - Gabon Coastal Forests

Gabon - One of the most ecologically diverse areas of Africa and Loango and Pongara National Parks will showcase this diversity to you incredibly well. There is an extensive list of both large and small mammals that are recorded here but highlights will be Western Lowland Gorilla, Chimpanzee, Manatee, Sitatunga, Red River Hog, Forest Elephants, Forest Buffalo, Yellow Backed Duikers, Slender Snouted Crocodile and the list goes on. Plus you will also be able to explore along the beaches and can even if we are lucky catch elephants or hippos on the beach along with a range of turtle species that will be hatching or nesting  along this beach. This is considered the greatest concentration of Leatherback Turtles on the planet! There is also the possibility of seeing Whales breaching along this coastline as well - there is a lot to take in here.
