We’ll kick things off in Nairobi, staying at the iconic Sarova Stanley hotel. This place is a perfect mix of old-world charm and modern luxury, right in the heart of the city. Whether you’re up for exploring the local markets, checking out the amazing wildlife at Nairobi National Park (yes, lions in the city!), or just chilling at the hotel’s rooftop pool, Nairobi’s got something for everyone. We had a blast here, and we know you will too!
Then, it’s time to head into the wild! We’ll take an exhilarating small plane flight to Mara Ripoi Conservancy—talk about views! Once we land, get ready to dive into the real safari experience. Porini Giraffe Camp is intimate and perfectly placed for some epic wildlife sightings. Lions, giraffes, elephants—you name it, they’re here. Plus, the local Maasai guides are incredible storytellers and will bring the whole place to life with their knowledge. Marianne and I were blown away by how close we got to the animals, and we can’t wait for you to see it too!
Next up is Ol Kinyei Conservancy, where we’ll be spending a night in the beautiful Porini Ol Kinyei Safari Cottages. This place feels like a hidden paradise, and the views are just spectacular. Picture yourself enjoying a sundowner while watching elephants stroll by—yes, it’s as amazing as it sounds! We’ll have time for game drives and maybe even a walking safari if you’re up for it. The best part? No crowds, just us and the wildlife.
Finally, we’re heading to the stunning Che Shale Beach for six days of pure relaxation. Marianne and I only had three nights here, and it just wasn’t enough, so we’re doubling it for this trip! Whether you’re into lounging on the beach, kitesurfing, or enjoying fresh seafood right by the water, Che Shale has it all. It’s the perfect way to wind down after all the safari excitement.

Given the crazy situation with the Norwegian Kroner versus the US Dollar, the final cost is impossible to know precisely - the rates at the time of paying the deposit and the final balance will apply. Hopefully the poor old Kroner will recover at some point.
