Namibia is a country with an excellent track record with conservation initiatives to help preserve and restore its natural landscapes, this is as a result of conservation issues being built into the School Curriculum and being able to show school children what their natural heritage is all about as opposed to reading about in books, which is unfortunately the case for many school children in Africa living in towns and cities. Combine this with some very dedicated wildlife professionals in the field and you have a very positive story.
You will be able to see all of this and help support the amazing efforts and projects that are ongoing here. This behind the scenes experience that you will have is a truly unique opportunity to be a part of the successes and challenges that happen in the field that are often not talked about. The safari is not all about the work that happens in the field it is also showing you some amazing wildlife in the wonderful Okonjima Reserve, The Huge Etosha Pan area and the spectacular Damaraland plus seeing and experiencing the incredible Namib Desert and the specialized creatures that call this home and thrive here.
