North Rim

Days 1 - 5

Though no less spectacular, Arizona's North Rim is a far less frequented section of the Grand Canyon than the South Rim. Escape the crowds at this remote and wild destination, accessible only from late May until October. Day-trippers will find popular short walks along the Bright Angel Point Trail and the Transept Trail near the North Rim Visitor Center, providing useful regional information. Take the winding road to the 'Point Imperial' and 'Cape Royal' lookout points for unforgettable views over the canyon. And for the adventurous intent on striking a line across their bucket list, plan accordingly for the 20+ mile, multi-day hike across otherworldly terrain from the North Rim to the South Rim.
