Day 1: Galapagos National Park

Upon arriving to Baltra Airport, you will be transferred to Odyssey Yacht at Puerto Ayora harbor. After settling in the yacht and lunch, the first visit will be to Charles Darwin Research Station, where you will learn about the protection and conservation of the island, and visit the Breeding and Rearing Centre for young tortoises and adult Galapagos tortoises in captivity. End of the activities and dinner onboard.

Day 2: Galapagos National Park

After an early breakfast, head to Tintoreras Islet, for a guided hike on a rough volcanic rock trail, passing a unique tidal channel which is a resting place for white tip reef sharks, among other trapped species, then, you will take a dinghy ride to Puerto Villamil, and after landing, you will go for a hike to Sierra Negra Volcano. During the afternoon, after lunch, you will visit the local tortoise breeding center and take a local bus tour through the surrounding marshes, where you can observe American flamingos and other aquatic and songbirds. End of the activities and dinner onboard.

Day 3: Galapagos National Park

Early in the morning, you will disembark at Moreno Point Moreno located at the north coast of Isabela, between volcanoes Sierra Negra and Cerro Azul, where you will go through a trail of solidified lava until a coastal lagoon where you will see several species of birds. After lunch, you will go to Elizabeth Bay, the excursion has no landing point. You will visit the Marielas islets, and see the most important penguin colony and a cove that is surrounded by red mangroves and observe seas turtles, flightless cormorants, spotted eagle rays, brown pelicans and sea lions.

Day 4: Galapagos National Park

Early in the morning, you will visit to Espinoza Point at Fernandina Island, that is one of the youngest islands with the most active volcano, and where you can spot pelicans, marine iguanas and flightless cormorants. During the afternoon you will head to Tagus Cove in Isabela Island, for a hike to the top of a cliff to view the volcanic landscapes of Darwin Volcano and Darwin Lake. Return to the yacht and dinner.

Day 5: Galapagos National Park

Early in the morning, you will visit head to Espumilla Beach in James Bay, an important breeding site for turtles, that is also a place where you can see playful sea lions, fur seals and various species of seabirds. This is also a good place to snorkel After lunch, you will visit Port Egas, a beach located at the west side of Santiago Island, its main attractive is its black sand beach, where you can also see Galapagos Fur Seals, Galapagos Hawks, and salt water lagoons where flamingos can be seen. End of the activities and dinner onboard.

Day 6: End of Itinerary

At the beginning of the last day you will make a short visit to Lobos Islet, a beach where a large colony of sea lions resides. In the breeding season this colony is also visited by very territorial males, defending and mating the harem on their part of the beach. After this activity you will be transferred to San Cristobal Airport and take your flight back to the continent.
